Daria van den Bercken

Daria van den Bercken is a young Dutch pianist with an active performing career, regularly giving concerts in the Netherlands and abroad. Daria began playing the piano at the age of six. She also sang in a children's choir.
In 1990, at the age of 10, she was admitted to the Young Talent Class of the Conservatory Rotterdam. There she studied with Mila Baslawskaja until her graduation (from the Amsterdam Conservatory) in 2002. Daria got her Master of Music Degree in December 2004 under the supervision of Prof. Naum Grubert. In 2000, Daria also studied with Menahem Pressler, at the Jacobs School of Music in Indiana University
Daria recently recorded her new CD "Debuut", featuring works by Bartók, Beethoven, Debussy and Liszt.
