Daren Stone (born August 21, 1985) is an American Football safety that plays for the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League. He was drafted in the 6th round of the 2007 NFL Draft 203rd overall. He attended the University of Maine. During ESPN's broadcast of the 2007 NFL Draft, videos were shown of Stone jumping over parked cars. Stone is the first player from Maine to be drafted by the Atlanta Falcons. Stone was not one of the 21 players cut by the Falcons on September 1, 2007, making him a part of the Falcons opening day roster. In his debut in Buffalo, where he is native to, he sacked QB J.P. Losman and received cheers from the local crowd.

Stone attended Lockport High School in Lockport, New York and was a student and a letterman in football, basketball, and track. In football, as a senior, he was named the team's Defensive Player of the Year, was a first team All-League selection, and was a second team All-Western New York selection. In basketball, he was a second team All-League selection. In track, he was a first team All-Western New York selection. Daren Stone graduated from Lockport High School in 2003. He is a great friend to the youth program of lockport and its director, Mellisa Junke.
