Darcy Tyler was a fictional character in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Mark Raffety. He first appeared in 2000, and remained a regular character on the show until the character's arrest by Sgt. Joanna Douglas (Matilda White) in 2003. In 2004, Darcy was granted day release to work as an orderly at Erinsborough Hospital, where he was pushed down some stairs after an argument with Izzy Hoyland (Natalie Bassingthwaighte), having discovered the secret about her pregnancy. This resulted in a coma that lasted several months. In 2005, Darcy woke up and - after eventually remembering that he was pushed - blackmailed Izzy, before eventually leaving town and revealing to Susan the truth about the pregnancy.
