Darcy A. Olsen

Darcy Olsen (born 1973) is the president and CEO of the Goldwater Institute, a free-market, limited government think tank in Phoenix, Arizona.[1]
Prior to her executive position at Goldwater, Darcy served as the Director for Education and Child Policy at the Cato Institute in Washington, D.C. Early in her career she managed a halfway house for the Coalition for the Homeless in Washington, D.C.
She has published numerous articles and columns in newspapers across the country, such as the National Review, USA Today and the Washington Times, and has appeared on local and national television shows such as Fox News Channel's O'Reilly Factor, the Dennis Miller Show, Arizona's PBS Horizon Sunday Square Off, and ABC's Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher.
In 2006, Darcy was the winner of the Roe Award, given by the State Policy Network for outstanding leadership from a state or local leader.[1][2]
Darcy earned a bachelor's degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and a master's degree in international education from New York University.
