Dario Anastacio Verón Maldonado (born 26 July 1979) is a Paraguayan football player.
He currently plays as a defender for Club Universidad Nacional, a Mexico City team commonly known as the Pumas. He joined the Pumas in 2003, on a transfer from the Chilean club Cobreloa. Verón previously played for Club Guaraní and Club 12 de Octubre, clubs from his native country. He also has played for the Paraguay national football team. His nickname is "Hechicero" (The Wizard) and he's considered a regular starter and the most experienced defensive player of Pumas after Joaquin Beltran moved to Necaxa.
