[edit] Title of category

I question the validity of the term "Dark cabaret musicians." Where did this term come from, how widespread is it among critics and, more importantly, the musicians themselves (do they all use it to describe themselves)? I listen to many of these artists and had never heard this term used in reference to any of them before this. Badagnani 05:41, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

If you look up Dark Cabaret on Wiki you'll find the answers. --—Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.168.42.23 (talkcontribs)

Well, I didn't, because it doesn't explain if the artists call themselves this. I am certain that Regina Spektor does not call herself "Dark cabaret," for example. This needs to be explained. Badagnani 23:36, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

I'm no expert on the genre (whatever you want to call it), but I think Barbez should be added to this list. Also, should the following page be combined with this one? -->[[1]] -VR —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.164.7.39 (talk) 03:44, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
