[edit] Einander gegenseitig
Hello Dapete, thank you for catching the bad German, I should have known better. I blame my local dialect, in which I actually hear enand gägesitig frequently. But it remains incorrect, and I even saw it mentioned as a typical mistake to be avoided. Take care and Happy Holidays.---Sluzzelin 22:03, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Catgraph
What a fantastic tool! Anything that helps with visualization is always good! :-)
Only very small suggestion I would make is to make the first letter of the "cat" parameter uppercase - e.g. this versus this - since I think MediaWiki forces all categories to start with an uppercase letter anyway. -- All the best, Nickj (t) 23:16, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks :)
- MediaWiki can be set up to allow lowercase first letters, and a few Wikimedia wikis use that (en:Wiktionary, for example). I doubt they use this feature with category names, but they could, and I think it's much better to just use the correct category name (as would be necessary if there are uppercase letters anywhere else in the category name, anyway). --Dapeteばか 12:42, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Catgraph query and suggestion
I have a queriy and suggestion:
- When I try to do subcategories the search seems to default to one level, even though I'm asking for several. Does that have to do with the number of subcategories returned reaching the limit of 100?
- It would be nice if the Catsearch could combine supercategories and subcategories, in order to place a category more clearly in its immediate context (perhaps with a default of two levels of supercategories and one level of subcategories).
Thanks for the handy tool. --SteveMcCluskey (talk) 17:09, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] aww, your random FA & GA features are broken
Loved them. 86.44.6.14 (talk) 01:02, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- Working again. I've made this independent from the Toolserver database which isn't working at the moment. --Dapeteばか 16:49, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Imagemap
Hi, I'm looking for a way to make parametric the image name for a imagemap (suppose I have 10 similar PNG with a different area highlighted and I want to give them the same clickable areas. Do you think there's any way to do it? Everytime I write an Imagemap with a parametric imagename I get "no image on first line". Thank you for your time! Goldmund100 (talk) 16:30, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- I assume you're trying to do something like this:
<imagemap> Image:{{{filename}}}|{{width|50px}} ... </imagemap>
- Parameters are not allowed in that format. It is now (en.wp since Feb 13, all other wikis since Feb 22) possible to write this in a different way:
{{#tag:imagemap| Image:{{{filename}}}{{!}}{{{width|50px}}} ... }}
- This works exactly the same, except that parameters work and | can't be used directly (it has to be replaced by Template:!). Example:
