[edit] Cousin?

"Barak is often said to be the cousin of Ehud Barak, former Prime Minister of Israel" -- but is she? --Masterofzen 20:32, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

  • No. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yoyoxyz (talk • contribs) 04:10, 22 September 2006
  • She was reported on WP
  1. as his daughter, without qualification, for 9 weeks in 2005.
  2. then, with the article contradicting itself re daughter, for two minutes as possible cousins, until the same editor became certain they were cousins.
  3. which persisted for almost a month,
  4. at which point it said without contradictions that they were cousins, for four months,
  5. until going to "often said" for a couple of years.

Removed informal tone of article, corrected spelling
(but saved no changes to spelling) in removing all of that material, which a more responsible editor certainly would have been copied in some form to this talk page.
