Dapanji (; pinyin: dàpánjī, literally "big plate chicken") is a popular dish of Chinese and Uyghur cuisine. The dish has several regional variants, but generally consists of pieces of chicken in a savory-sweet sauce, with potatoes, chile peppers, and bell peppers. The dish can commonly be found in Sichuanese restaurants, but is also popular in Xinjiang among Uyghurs. Dapanji can be eaten alone, or served on top of laghman, the Uyghur version of lamian.
