[edit] Deletion list
Hi all you Danish Wikipedian people,
I hope I'm putting this note in the right place.
I just wanted to let you know about a list of Denmark-related items on Votes for Deletion. It's part of WikiProject Deletion sorting, and you can find it here. I hope you can use it to track and contribute to Denmark-related deletion debates. If you find the list useful, please also help keep it up to date.
By the way, new deletion sorters are welcome and needed. Join us!
Cheers,

[edit] Greenland music
I recently nominated music of Greenland to be a meta:Translation of the Week. See here for the nomination. One user has said a translation into Danish or Greenlandic would help. Since I can't find any Greenlandic users, I thought I'd leave a message here. Tuf-Kat 21:58, August 29, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Personal identification number
I just moved a page, Personal identification number (Denmark) from Social Security number (Denmark). The article could use a little cleaning up, especially when if comes to inserting the official English translations. It also needs a description of the structure of the number itself. Right now all it says is "xxxxxx-xxxx." Thank you! --Adamrush 20:45, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- Also, the original page (SSN (Denmark)) needs to be deleted. Anyone know how? --Adamrush 20:46, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- Just another request for a translation of that article's explaination of the algorithm behind your number. I tried translating it myself, but the Swedish on that page is really bad. --Adamrush 14:48, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Assorted Danish politics questions
Copied from here:
3. There were plans to hold a referendum on the € in Denmark in 2004, then again in 2005, now... what happened? Still planned for sometime in the close future?
10. What's the status of independence movements in the Faroe Islands and Greenland?
Thanks for any information you might be able to contribute. ナイトスタリオン ✉ 09:14, 29 October 2005 (UTC)

Could I ask you to please take a look at this AfD? Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jesper Ottesen Thank you. Poulsen 13:57, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Parken image (in Danish)
Hej.
Kalaha 15:18, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion candidate?
Steppeulvene - does this group meet WP:MUSIC? Punkmorten 12:28, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- Clearly notable. There is a 24-line article (with photo) in Den Store Danske Encyklopædi, saying in part "Trods en levetid på kun halvandet år opnåede gruppen rockmytologisk status; dens eneste lp, Hip (1967), var den første dansksprogede rockplade ...". The annual prize of Foreningen af Danske Musikkritikere is named Steppeulven after them. I agree that the ariticle currently does not describe their notability, but did you even try googling? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Henning Makholm (talk • contribs). (Oops. - Yes. There is a reason I didn't delete it right away. Thanks for expanding the article. It's worthy of being kept now. Punkmorten 14:49, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tourism in Denmark
Tourism in Denmark has some NPOV issues. In fact, it almost reads like a tourist commercial. I think we have to remove most/all of it unless someone adds something encyclopedic to it. Zarniwoot 16:51, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Uenighed
--Comanche cph 17:07, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Danish literature
Could someone write an actual Danish literature article? It's currently a redirect. Maybe Norwegian literature has some useful ideas. Haukur 22:43, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- Well, this may also be useful for an overview (especially the "Om perioden" links) — Peter L <talk|contribs> 22:58, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've made a start and written a short summary up to the 18th century. I hope someone will continue. Haukur 21:17, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Listed at Requested moves: Odense, Denmark -> Odense
The article on Odense was recently moved to a new name. I have listed this page on WP:RM and I am suggesting the return of the article to its original name. Please share any comments for or against on Talk:Odense, Denmark. Regards. Valentinian (talk) 20:55, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Request for information on Greenland--EU relations
For the article list of European Union member states by accession, I'd need information on the current stance of Greenlandic parties and politicians on rejoining the EU -- are there any which advocate it? Has it been ruled out decisively? Any kind of information would be welcome. Thanks! —Nightstallion (?) 18:22, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] DYK
The DYK section featured on the main page is always looking for interesting new and recently expanded stubs from different parts of the world. Please make a suggestion.--Peta 02:00, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Proposal for a WikiProject Denmark
Laleena has proposed the creation of a WikiProject on Denmark at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals#Denmark. If you would be interested in joining such a project, please add your name there so it can be known if there is sufficient interest in such a project to start one. Thank you. [edit] Oldham
Hello (hallo, goddag) Danish Wikipedians!
This is a long-shot on my part but I'm trying to drum up interest in the Oldham article, which is a current featured article candidate. It's a rather banal town in North West England, but was founded by the Danish in 865, and it's name is in fact of Old Norse origin.
There's not much Danish influence left now, of course (though local people still say "Skriking" when they mean "crying/screaming", which I understand is Danish!?), I just thought it might be of interest to someone here, even if it's just a translation for the Danish language Wikipedia. Featured article review page is here. Thanks guys, -- Jza84 · (talk) 14:47, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
