[edit] Daniel Polito
Hello! Daniel Polito is not the appropriate spot to post information about yourself, because that's the encyclopedic part of the Wikipedia website. User:Danpolito, however, is available for personal information about yourself. Please see Wikipedia:Introduction and Wikipedia:User page for more information. -- Merope 20:40, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
You should also read WP's policies concerning conflicts of interest. Please do not re-submit this article. -- Merope 20:43, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Daniel Polito info moved to your userpage
Hi, Dan. As this appears to be about yourself, I have taken the liberty of moving it to your userpage. Happy editing. Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 20:43, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] copy editing
Hi, Dan-
You look like a good copy editor. If you would be willing to help, there is a list of pages in need of copy editing at Category:Wikipedia_articles_needing_copy_edit. Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 21:06, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia. But...
...I've added the "{{prod}}" template to your user page (User:Danpolito), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy).
Please note that the purpose of a user page is not as personal homepage or used as a general webhosting service, but as way for active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. If you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues here or on my user talk page. You may remove the deletion notice, and the page will not be deleted for the moment, but note that it may still be sent to Miscellany for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria.
If you wish to contribute directly to Wikipedia and your page has already been deleted, you can ask any admin to undelete and restore it: if necessary, leave me a message and I'll pass on your request. To begin editing, here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia

- Don't write about yourself
- Help pages

- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Thank you, and happy editing. Calton | Talk 21:52, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lamina Lighting
A tag has been placed on Lamina Lighting, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 21:12, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with Lamina Lighting. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 21:44, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
