[edit] License tagging for Image:Irnakk.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Irnakk.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:05, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

I do not know which copyright tag to use. --Danny Phantom Phantom... 18:53, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sig

Hey I.R.F this is Master Chief. I'm asking if you can make me the same sig from the Halopedia? Reply to me as soon as possible.--Master Chief 117 00:26, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

 {{User:Master Chief 117/sig}}

in the nickname box and remeber to check the box that says: raw signature (without automatic link) box. --Danny Phantom Phantom... 21:10, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Ok Thanks.— MASTER CHiEF 117 22:46, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 2 message bars?!?!

Why were there 2 message bars at the top when i got new messages? Is that what it's supposed to do? Timmy Turner 20:04, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

I put one fake message bar at the top. That's why. --Danny Phantom Phantom... 20:05, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Line

Why shouldn't I remove the line at the top in your sandbox? Timmy Turner 20:09, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

Because, Timmy it's the sandbox heading. --Danny Phantom Phantom... 20:10, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikiproject: Fish

Hi, I'm wondering if you would join my recently created project, Wikipedia:Wikiproject Improving Fish Articles. QuizQuick 00:05, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Actually that fish stub and the category were both fake. It's not really a fish stub. --Danny Phantom Phantom... 17:59, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
No. But Thanks for the offer. --Danny Phantom Phantom... 18:01, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your signature

Hi Invisible Robot Fish. You are currently using a transcluded signature. I see that you are managing to circumvent the provision in the MediaWiki that avoids templated signatures by double transcluding your signature using User:Invisible Robot Fish/Sig. This functionality is depreacted for a reason (see WP:SIG#Transclusion/template). Perhaps you could change it to use a normal signature? Thanks very much. Sam Korn (smoddy) 19:15, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

I made User:Invisible Robot Fish/Sig so whenever I change my sig it changes it on all pages. --Danny Phantom Phantom... 22:34, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I realise this. It is recommended against and indeed a basic attempt is made by the software to stop you doing it. This is because it increases server load whenever the page needs to be regenerated or you change your signature. Please use the normal facilities provided. Sam Korn (smoddy) 22:37, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
Okay. Anyway, won't we have to SUBST: my sig on every page it's on? --Danny Phantom Phantom... 02:19, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Anyway, can you semi-protect my user and user talk page? Thanks.  — Invisible Robot Fish! 02:23, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding your request for adminship

Have a cookie!
Have a cookie!

Hi, Invisible Robot Fish!

I noticed that you are requesting adminship. I'm glad that you're so eager to help the community, but I think you may want to withdraw your request for now. Most RFA candidates have at least 2,000 edits; it's extremely unlikely that your RFA will succeed as you have less than 500 edits. Your contributions are very valuable, but you don't need the admin tools for what you're doing, and few users are going to feel comfortable giving you the tools because of your low edit count. Edit count, of course, isn't everything, but there is a difference between 500 and 2,000. Try waiting a few months and I'm sure you'll be renominated. :) Keep up the great work! Srose (talk) 23:41, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

I agree with Srose. Please see my comment at your request for administration page for more. Regards, Newyorkbrad 00:10, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Your rfa has been withdrawn; please don't take it personally. As mentioned above and on the rfa page, there are a variety of standards set by members community that are necessary to be met to gain support, and you haven't been here long enough or edited as much as some would like. Remember, you don't have to be an admin to make great edits. Picaroon9288 00:20, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi there, I am writing to let you know that I have withdrawn your request for adminship as it was clearly going to fail and I felt its continuation would have been no benefit to you. I would echo the comments made by Srose, Newyorkbrad and Picaroon9288 that the outcome of your request is almost exclusively down to your relative inexperience rather than your ability. I would encourage you to diversify the areas in which you contribute, I particular, this being primarily an encyclopedia, I would recommend working on a few articles - the "main-space" is in many ways the best place to get a feel for Wikipedia and the way it works. From there you might want to go on to look at areas like articles for deletion or cleanup. There are many ways in which you can contribute that are at least as useful as those jobs requiring administrative attention. I hope you find this advice helpful, if you have any questions please feel free to ask me. Yours, Rje 00:32, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

I knew I wasn't going to become an admin anyway. Oh, well. --Danny Phantom Phantom... 00:21, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Master Chief 117's RfA

Would you please explain why you nominated a clearly unqualified candidate for RfA and then voted oppose on that candidate? This is clearly disrupting Wikipedia to make a point. Do not repeat this sort of disruptive behavior or you will be blocked. Thanks, Gwernol 22:10, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

I know him in person. Today he asked me to set up a nomination for him because he doesn't know how. I didn't think he deserved to be an admin to I voted oppose.  — Invisible Robot Fish! 23:32, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
So, perhaps a good idea would have been to tell Master Chief 117 that he wasn't ready yet, and give him some advise on how to become a suitable candidate. Instead you decided to put him through a potentially humiliating process and wasted everyone's time. Try to be more considerate of others in the future. Thanks, Gwernol 23:44, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Why were you messing around with my sandbox? Warofdreams talk 18:25, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
I thought it was like the Wikipedia sandbox where anyone can edit or test in it. I won't do it again. --Danny Phantom Phantom... 18:13, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair Use Images on your userpage

[edit] Danny Phantom discussion

Hello. You recently participated in a discussion on the possible deletion or merger of some Danny Phantom characters. While all the articles were kept, I noted that many of those commenting on the debate suggested merging some characters into a main list. Seeing this, I've compiled a list of some of the minor characters who may not need their own article, and would like the opinions of those who weighed in originally. You can participate in the discussion here. Ral315 (talk) 18:24, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
