[edit] Hi!

Hi, Danilo. Do you remember our talk about "Chono" place names?. I made es:Idioma chono with scarce avalaible information on Internet and another few sources. Can you review it? Thanks. Lin linao 08:37, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] mapuche placenmes

Hi, would you like to check and improve this list? List of Mapudungun placenames. This is the source for some of the etymologies: [1]. Dentren | Talk 18:24, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chon languages

Hi, Danilo. No, I'm not writing about anything on en:wp because my English is very poor. I only make minor edits here :(. My contributions to es:wp are more big (?) and I've added some information about Kawésqar, Mapudungun, Chono and Chon languages (using Fernández Garay, "El tehuelche"). I think that we can work together, translating en<->es; look at Mapudungun and es:Idioma mapuche (yesterday another bibliotecarios moved it from mapudungun and my arguments didn't work); both of them contain a lot of lacking data that can be found on their "brother" in the other language. Bye. Lin linao 00:54, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Diaguitas and Kakán

Do you mean that they didnt existed? Do you have sources? Sounds interesting, if that is true why ddint earrly spaniards notice that? Diego de Almagro and other conquistadores that traveled in Norte Chico and nortern Argentina should have noticed that they didnt spoke same language.. Even if "Diaguitas" as we know them from the school books may not exist, the inhabitants of Norte Chico needs a name (even if its origin is incorrect). Dentren | Talk 17:47, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi Danilo- where did you go- haven't heard from you on Waata Chis in ages. Say hello if you have a chance. One of the subscribers is currently working with Cristina Calderon. Maybe some new things to talk about. Hope all is well with you. Yahganlang —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.76.23.72 (talk) 20:17, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
