Howdy girl I am at piano right now. Anyway can you tell me if this Sunday would be a good day to get together. Maybe you can dance it only costs $10 for 1 hour although we are usually there for 2 hours. I was looking at the boxes on your user page, and I was wondering...What is your secret identity? (lol) :) Nevermind. About the boxes, you can just go into my userpage, hit the edit button, and copy the coding for whatever boxes you want to use. Some of them are templates, while others I created myself. Okay, to get the cool signature you:

1. Go into your preferences (the link is on the top of the screen, with your user page, talk page, etc.)

2. Go to the Signature box in the User profile (it's automatically up, just scroll down)

3. Type in something like this: [[User:Danielsfan17|Danielsfan17]]/[[User talk:Danielsfan17|Talk to me]] (you can change the text to whatever you want, for example, instead of "Talk to me", you could put "Leave me a message" or something like that).

4. If you want to add color, type in <font color="# and then the code for the color; for example, if you wanted blue you would type <font color="#0000FF"> (they are zeroes, not the letter O) and then whatever you wanted to say. At the end of your colored message, you would type </font>. To make your whole signature blue, type in (I'm using the example I gave above): <font color="#0000FF">[[User:Danielsfan17|Danielsfan17]]</font>/<font color="#0000FF">[[User talk:Danielsfan17|Talk to me]]</font> for a result of:

You can check my talk page for a selection of colors to use. You can also invent your own. Just use the following sequence:

AABBCC

The A's represent the amount of red, B's are green, and C's are blue. The values range from 00 to FF. Numerically, it goes from 00-99, and then after that it goes A0, A1, A2... OK. Here's the problem:
You typed in [[User:Danielsfan17|<font color ="#0000AA">[[User:Danielsfan17|Danielsfan17]]</font>/<font color ="#0000CC">[[User talk:Danielsfan17|Leave me a message!]]</font>]].
You're not supposed to put spaces between font color and the ="# in the coding. Here's what it should be: <font color="0000AA">[[User:Danielsfan17|Danielsfan17]]</font>/<font color="#0000CC">[[User talk:Danielsfan17|Leave me a message!]]</font>
And the result is: Danielsfan17/Leave me a message!

    • Wikipedia does not have any firm rules. Be bold, because nobody is perfect and you don't have to have a perfect encyclopedia article the first time around. Don't worry about messing up, either, because all previous versions are kept (check the "History" tab at the top of the page for all those previous versions!) and can be accessed.
  3. There is a help page for new contributors.

Hey, DF17! I noticed that you were having some problems with the images that you uploaded. I've never added any images to WP, so I can't really give you any advice there, but if you need any help with anything else, feel free to ask me. I don't consider myself an "expert" on Wikipedia, just a friendly helper. Of course, there are some things I can't answer, or some I've been paid not to, but everything else is open.

P.S. No one has paid me anything to not help people. That was just a joke. The only things that I won't help with are things that I can't help with. And about the images, just do what the robots tell you to. If you don't, they will hunt you down with a swarm of locusts and destroy your brain :{.
