Thank you for your amendment to the article on The Retreat. I had a look at your Conservative Humanism website and have to disagee with your view that Humanism is recent or totally atheistic The Humanists arose during the Renaissance and were Christian.

Will here be a WP article on Conservative Humanism soon? The discussion page would no doubt be interesting!

Thank you Vernon for the comment, but not all humanists were Christrains in the Renaissance. _______________

[edit] Notability of Robert J Havighurst

A tag has been placed on Robert J Havighurst, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Deranged bulbasaur 05:12, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

I disagree with this assessment. I have expanded the article using 2 reliable references. Havighurst is a member of an international hall of fame, and his notability has been asserted in the article. Royalbroil T : C 05:55, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
You should add references that you used to write the article. You can use the referencing system that I started on the article. Contact me if you need help with adding the references. The article would also be more complete if you listed the ISBN numbers of his books. These minor additions would make the article much better. I was patrolling the new pages, and his birthplace of DePere caught my eye (as I live in the region of that state). Nice article! Royalbroil T : C 19:19, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
