Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. Again, welcome!

Hello! I'm glad you are interested in contributing to Wikipedia. We welcome new articles about subjects of encyclopedic significance. The article you created, DMAK, appears to be primarily about yourself, people you know, or your own ideas. As such it has been marked for deletion. If I've misunderstood the article, please go to the article and follow the instructions in the banner to respond.
For a quick overview of Wikipedia's policies, see the five pillars of Wikipedia. You can still create other articles about encyclopedic subjects. If you can't think of a subject, you can check the recent requests or improve an existing article.

[edit] License tagging for Image:Dan2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Dan2.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:05, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on CEO DMAK, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Walter Görlitz 00:00, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't mark the page for deletion, but you may want to consider checking the spelling on the page if it survives. It's pretty bad. --Walter Görlitz 00:01, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:UsersfrancoisbonuraDesktopIMG 7682.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:UsersfrancoisbonuraDesktopIMG 7682.JPG. The copy called Image:UsersfrancoisbonuraDesktopIMG 7682.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 06:47, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:UsersfrancoisbonuraDesktopIMG 7682.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:UsersfrancoisbonuraDesktopIMG 7682.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aksibot 02:17, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] non-commercial use only
Confusingly, you also tagged the image as being available under a free license, meaning that commercial uses are allowed. Please indicate whether the image can be freely used commercially (in which case it can be kept), or whether the image can only be used non-commercially (in which case it will have to be deleted).
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (random) 19:26, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[edit] Commercial use of Image:Me mann.jpg
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Me mann.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Me mann.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Me mann.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 18:51, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:UsersfrancoisbonuraDesktopIMG_7896.jpeg listed for deletion
An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:UsersfrancoisbonuraDesktopIMG_7896.jpeg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. User:Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr) 00:48, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
I notice you have uploaded the image Image:UsersfrancoisbonuraDesktopIMG 7742.jpeg with the {{logo}} fair use image tag. However, this tag seems unrelated to the content of the image, and as a result it may qualify for speedy deletion. Image:UsersfrancoisbonuraDesktopIMG 7742.jpeg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.
If you can find a valid tag that expresses why Image:UsersfrancoisbonuraDesktopIMG 7742.jpeg can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the {{logo}} tag that you have placed on it with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{non-free fair use in|article name that the image is used in}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the image. If the image has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it. However, you must not remove the speedy deletion notice. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. The Evil Spartan 17:58, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Grap.jpeg
Welcome, and thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. An image you have uploaded, Image:Grap.jpeg, was marked as having been released under a free license by the copyright holder, but no evidence of this release has been provided. If notice of the release is on the copyright holder's website, please link to it in the image summary. If the release is a response to a request for copyright permission, the full request and response must be forwarded to OTRS. If you need help in composing a request, the example requests for permission may be helpful. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 16:15, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Possibly unfree Image:Grap.jpeg
- Essentially, if you are the professional photographer of this work, or you represent the company that owns the work, could you please indicate as much on the page? Thanks. The Evil Spartan 16:34, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Klipshot.JPEG
Thank you for uploading Image:Klipshot.JPEG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 04:26, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:KlipShop.JPEG
Thank you for uploading Image:KlipShop.JPEG.
STBotI 04:37, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Coveroftheklip.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Coveroftheklip.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 11:27, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] November 2007
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Haylie Duff, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. NeilN 18:46, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] DeSisto Contibutions
Hi check the revision history of the DeSisto School. One of those wikipedia bitches with no life deleted the whole noteworthy alum section today. Anyhow thanks for your contribution. I'll put the whole section back in a couple of months when she's not looking.
Unsourced content
Please don't add unsourced content about living persons to Wikipedia articles. I have reverted your additions to Jenna Bush and DeSisto School because your additions were unsourced and unverifiable. --Orlady (talk) 21:18, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
