Hi, I'm a computer programmer, artist, chess player, philosopher, and the webmaster for Chessgames.com. (As such I steer clear of any Chessgames.com related links here for fear of being accused of conflict-of-interest.)

I am no great writer but I know the basics of proper English writing. I even use the word "whom" correctly! When I worked at the local newspaper the called me the "comma king" because I was an expert at knowing where commas are required, and where they are optional. However, I consider myself a total Wiki-noob, so my edits attempt to be of only the most obvious and uncontroversial sort. In all other cases I drop my two-bits in on the discussion page.
