Markets that have at least one local newscast filmed and transmitted in HDTV, will have a note under the template, stating which station is in HD. All templates will have notes of the subchannels available to the market. The list is in order of preference. Also of note, I have used my Elgato EyeTV Hybrid USB HDTV tuner on my Apple MacBook. I have been able to get HDTV channels with a regular un-amplified HDTV-ready over-the-air antenna. I have listed channels which I have gotten with an (*) asterisk. I have also listed the overall best station with news (+N), best Weather forecasts (+W), best Sports (+S), best offering of sub-channels (+U), and best educational programming (+E/I). Ties do occur in one or more markets.
