Greetings fellow wikis. My name is Dana Ullman, and I choose to be transparent on wikipedia. I honor transparency and hope that more wiki people come out of the closet and become themselves. Honesty and high ethical standards are good first steps to providing a contribution to wikipedia.

Some of you may know my work in the field of homeopathy. If not, there's a bio page for me, Dana Ullman. However, be careful on what you read here because some antagonists to homeopathy have toyed with this bio page, sometimes making stuff up out of thin air and sometimes providing half-truths. I am grateful to those people out there who work to provide good, accurate, verifiable, and notable information with that idealistic neutral point of view. Bless you.

Ultimately, I'm a reasonable man, and I try to provide reasonable, WP:V, WP:RS, and notable contributions to wikipedia. I do listen to others and hear what they have to say, and I learn from everyone. Sometimes, I agree with critics and sometimes I don't. In that light, I have a backbone and can and will assert it.

My challenge is that many people have a great amount of misinformation about homeopathy, and sadly, those people with knowledge and experience in this medical specialty are in a minority on wikipedia. Even more sadly, many of them have tried in vain to insert more reasonable and more accurate information in the article on homeopathy, but due to edit warring and simply mean-spiritedness, many of these intelligent and experienced editors have left wikipedia in disgust. Hopefully, people with varying POV will be respectful, assume good faith, and follow wiki policies so that we make this site increasing better. Dana Ullman Talk 00:20, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
