[edit] Regarding recent edits (May 2008)
I've removed the "Controversies" section because it is not relevant to this bio and makes no mention of the subject of the article; nor does it even provide citations to support the notion that a controversy exists! If material alleging a controversy involving the Convergence Movement is to be included in Wikipedia, that material should be in the Convergence Movement article, not here. This article is not a surrogate to be used to convey other viewpoints not obvious in the primary article about the subject. Again, it will also have to be supported by citations, which has not occurred despite my repeated insistence, by adding {{fact}} tags, that some citations, not mere links to articles about concepts such as Ecumenism, be provided.
Meanwhile, this article still does not meet the notability guideline and will probably be deleted soon. Numerous and full citations should be included to meet this guideline, including dates, page numbers, and author's names of articles in other media. Failing that, I will likely nominate this article for deletion in a few days, after the article has been up for one month without such supporting references.
