[edit] TD & senator

This is from the Dáil website on DC:

7th Seanad Nominated by the Taoiseach 1951-1954 5th Seanad Industrial and Commercial Panel 1944-1948 4th Seanad Industrial and Commercial Panel 1943-1944 3rd Seanad Industrial and Commercial Panel 1938-1943 2nd Seanad Industrial and Commercial Panel 1938-1938 8th Dáil Cork North 1933-1937 6th Dáil Cork North 1927-1932 5th Dáil Cork North 1927-1927 4th Dáil Cork North 1923-1927 3rd Dáil Cork Mid, North, South, South-East, West 1922-1923 2nd Dáil Cork Mid, North, South, South-East, West 1921-1922

so I am amending the text: "In 1921 he was elected to the Dáil for Sinn Féin in the Cork Mid, North, South, South East and West. An anti-Treaty member, he did not take his seat but joined the newly created Fianna Fáil party in 1926 and took his seat in 1927. He continued as a member until 1937, when he was defeated. In 1938 he was elected to the Seanad Éireann. He continued to be an elected member until 1947, after which he was one of the additional members nominated by the Taoiseach. He did not seek re-election in 1954."Red Hurley (talk) 14:09, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
