[edit] This person is not notable, and does not need a wikipedia article

I found the article to be biased and Anti-Muslim, this person is not notable, he hasn't done anything important, and therefore does not need an article.Wraith12 11:18, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Wraith12

I've erased the single contentious statement (which, despite it's biased wording, could very well be true in many cases). You should relax. He seems notable to me, and concerning whether or not he's done "anything important", I'm afraid that's a subjective assessment.--C.Logan 05:04, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
I can see what Wraith12 means. He doesn't look famous or his books important. He's just noted on many sites which evangelize or are anti Muslim. I only got here because I was looking over pages in the Kurdish people category and found that this article POV and messy. Though yes its subjective so some scholarly citations for his importance as a scholar should be given or it should be put up for deletion. I'm not sure that he even is a "scholar". I'll take a look into it. I got here because Wraith12 periodically removes individuals from List of notable former Muslims for false/POV reasons. For this entry in particular he removed the entry citing something similar to the above, and decided to blank this page. Obviously, that's not the right way to do things, and I've come to be a little apprehensive in trusting Wraith12's judgment because of behavior like this. Just to note, he appears more notable than a few of the individuals found wholly acceptable on List of notable converts to Islam, and the focus here leads me to suspect a few POV factors. This isn't of course to say that "because they can do it, so should we", but it's simply to note the unusual double standard exhibited in scenarios like this. I'll ask a few other editors to assist in assessing this individual. Presumably, his EWTN involvement will be an important factor.--C.Logan 18:18, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
