[edit] Sex Offender Registration category?

This article was recently added to the sex offender registration category, and I don't understand why. A dangerous offender designation has nothing to do with being registered as a sex offender. Also, not all sex offenders are designated dangerous offenders, and not all dangerous offenders are sex offenders. Being registered as a sex offender is a completely seperate matter from being designated as a dangerous offender (and in fact, there is no registration of dangerous offenders - it's merely a sentencing tool). So unless I am missing something, I would suggest removing the article from this category. Singularity42 (talk) 13:12, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] United States

I'm glad to see that some information has been provided about related law in the U.S. However, I decided to move it down the article. The basis of the information in the U.S. section is that there is no specific provision called 'dangerous offenders', whereas there is in the other countries listed. Also, considering the intro in the article, it didn't make sense to then lead with the U.S. section. (I actually think it should also come after the England & Wales section, but I thought it might look odd considering that that section only has one sentence.)
