Dana Sheridan is a well-known flute and headjoint maker. A number of flute dealers sell his instruments as their top-of-the-line offering. He is a significant figure in the flute community because of the quality of his instruments.
Perhaps this article in a flute-specific trade journal is sufficient evidence that Dana Sheridan is not just some guy.
