I assumed this is autobiography since your username has the same last name as Mr. Devion SUBWAYguy 19:56, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

Subwayguy, it's not autobiography but I am a family member, I didn't interpret that as being against the rules, your feedback is very helpful and appreciated, thanks, Cdevion 13:30, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Since you're a relative, the autobiography tag still seems to apply. According to WP:AUTO: "You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest." Subwayguy, thanks, might I suggest there are lots of biographies written by family members and this doesn't make them into autobiographies, thus my insistence that this is not autobiography. However, if a Wikipedia contributor shouldn't write about family members, clearly this infringes on that! Can I remove the article as the contributor. I spent a while searching the help for this topic but came up dry. ThanksCdevion 20:44, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

I see that the autobio template has been added again, and it occurred to me that the template is misleading. This is unequivocally not an autobiography. But I understand your reasons for applying the template. Maybe there should be another template, something like "potential conflict of interest." I appreciate your efforts to uphold the standards of Wikipedia, and no offense is taken or meant.Cdevion 23:43, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
