Sorry, was unaware of his true significance. Just adapted the resume he posted as best as I could (and did pretty good job, I think.) The dates I looked up from the CFL franchise homepages, so those are legit. Thank you for purging those left-over first-name references. CHL 03:41, 24 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Boy, am i confused. I wrote this for this talk page early in my sequence of several short, and one long, edits:

If we learn Goodale has endorsed him, put this modified form of info from the article back in, in mentioning the endorsement:
Goodale, now the Minister of Finance of Canada...
(Goodale's current status is irrelevant w/o evidence that they are still close.)

But CHLuke is not referring to that, bcz i haven't saved it yet.

I think i should make clear that i never heard of him before this article; it's my feel for political careers that he may be already, and if not may still have a great chance of being, a protege and ally of Gooddale. Lots of people run for office without a chance of winning; if his party just wanted cannon fodder for a seat they know they can't win, he'll probably shrivel up and blow away from politics 24 hours after the election, and be a "footnote" in WP. (However, i know a lot more about US pol culture than Canada; Canadians contradict (and edit!) me if i'm inferring too much.) If he's built a relationship with the constituency, a well-fought campaign and a decent showing, win or lose, could mean we will someday be especially proud to say we had an article on him (that made a better article than his lit did) this early.
