I'm wondering what source you're citing when you say the real Doherty was much more brutal than the TV version.

[edit] Name

What's the source for the name "Dan Doherty"? John S. McClintock's book "Pioneer Days in the Black Hills" lists "Dan Dority" as general manager of the Gem. AlistairMcMillan 23:52, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Misc

What is that paragraph at the bottom doing here? Seems it refers to a whole different person who also happens to have the name Dan Doherty and it needs to be taken out and another distinct article created for this other person. Brakbudy 23:35, 7 November 2007 (UTC)brakbudy
