I don't understand why this entry is being targeted for deletion. For one, there are three other Democratic candidates running for the same office (NC Lieutenant Governor). All four have wiki entries, only three serve as actual elected officials, but only this entry has been targeted for deletion. The other three entries are Pat Smathers, Walter Dalton, and Hampton Dellinger. Now I do NOT advocate deleting all four entries, but if we're going to treat one for deletion, then all should be as well.

The entry should be kept up, but I agree that any "slanting" should be edited out. Captsfufp (talk) 19:16, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
