Promotional photograph of Danny Cedrone taken c.1953. Photographer and copyright unknown; family members contacted are unable to provide this information. This photograph has been republished numerous times in Sound and Glory (Dyne-American Publications, 1990) by John W. Haley and John von Hoelle and Rock Around the Clock (Backbeat, 2005) by Jim Dawson as well as record sleeves and elsewhere. This cropped version of the image is taken from the uploader's own website http://www.rockabillyhall.com/Extra2.html which does not claim copyright of it. It is the uploader's opinion -- supported by having contacted family members of the individual - that the use of this head shot to illustrate the article Danny Cedrone is fair use. In addition, this is one of only two known photographs in circulation of Danny Cedrone; no free alternatives are available as this individual has been dead for more than 50 years. The three criteria listed in the promotional photo banner, below, are therefore satisfied.
