Dante Robinson

Dante Robinson (June 19, 1980–), from Bossier City, Louisiana, was an American football quarterback.

As a freshman on Airline High School's varsity football team, he broke numerous state records in passing touchdowns and passing yards. As a top prospect in college, he joined the Miami Hurricanes in 1999. Starting as quarterback in 2000, he led the Hurricanes to the national championship. As a number one overall draft pick, the Seattle Seahawks were in need of a starting caliber quarterback drafting Dante. But 2 months into training camp he suffered a severe concussion after fighting off a gang of thugs at a nightclub. Unable to play football anymore, he retired.

He now runs a foundation that works with keeping youths out of gangs and also has a successful adult entertainment company.
