Danny Wicks (born 5 December 1985, in Grafton, New South Wales) is a professional rugby league player for the Newcastle Knights in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. Wicks previously played for the St. George Illawarra Dragons. His position of choice is prop, though he can also play second row.

In 2007, Wicks secured himself a three-year contract with the Newcastle Knights following Brian Smith's clean-out at the club.[1]

A memorable moment in his career was in the 2008 NRL season when the Newcastle Knights played the Sydney Roosters, Wicks broke the line and outran about 3 players to score a 45m try. He ran unusually fast despite his big stomach.
