[edit] Biography
His career has been varied, working as a construction worker, barman for the original Porirua Tavern,[1] a stint in the New Zealand Army[citation needed] and a television presenter before becoming a talkback radio host. Danny got his big break in media when TVNZ director Michael Stedman hired him to host children's television show Spot On.[2] This role led him to his most famous television role, host of well known children's show What Now with co-presenters Michelle Bracey and Frank Flash.
