Danny Seaborne (footballer)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Danny Seaborne is an English professional footballer, playing as a defender for Exeter City. Plays at centre-half or as a left-back. Seaborne signed his first full professional contract in May 2005, after successfully completing a spell as a trainee. Made his senior debut for the club in the Victor Gladwish Cup at Aldershot Town in February 2005. He was loaned out to Clyst Rovers in 2004-05, Tiverton Town in September 2005 and Taunton Town in January 2006. He made his Conference (Blue Square Premier) debut in the 3-1 home win over Dagenham & Redbridge in April 2006. Also in the same month Seaborne scored his first career goal, a header from a corner, in the 4-0 home win against Crawley Town. Failed to get a regular place in the team and was loaned out again this time to Blue Square South side Dorchester Town. In June 2007 he signed a new one-year deal. Broke into the side but, a terrible tackle in a pre-season friendly against Cornish side Bodmin Town forced him out for 3 months. A scan revealed that he had a broken leg. Now back in the team he has made a great partnership at centre-half with Matt Taylor.
