Daniel Peter Masterson (born March 13, 1976) is an American actor known for his role as Steven Hyde in That '70s Show.

Masterson starred as Justin in Cybill, Jimmy Girvin in Roseanne, and has made several guest appearances on Punk'd and MADtv. His younger brother is actor Christopher Masterson of the television series Malcolm in the Middle and the movie, Scary Movie 2.

He is a co-owner of Dolce, a restaurant he founded with That '70s Show co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Wilmer Valderrama. Masterson also frequently DJs at Los Angeles night clubs under his name, DJ MomJeans, formerly DJ Donkey Punch. Masterson also co-hosts a Monday night radio show titled Feel My Heat, on Indie 103.1 in Los Angeles, California.

Masterson was born in Albertson, New York, the son of Carol (his manager) and Peter Masterson, a State Farm Insurance agent [1]. The two divorced in 1984 [2]. He has a younger brother, Christopher Masterson, who portrayed the unruly Francis (oldest brother) in Malcolm in the Middle. His other younger siblings are: younger paternal half-brother, Will Masterson (who attends the University of Southern California); younger maternal half-brother Jordan Reaiche; and a maternal younger half-sister named Alanna Reaiche. Alanna appeared in an episode of Malcolm in the Middle and was on Y&R as Colleen Cecile Carlton in 1994–1995. Jordan and Alanna's dad Joe Reaiche was a famous pro Rugby League player in Sydney, Australia. Despite remarriages the family is still close.

Masterson is a member of the Church of Scientology in which he was raised. He once said, "I have been acting since age 4. I have always been working and I have always been in Scientology my entire life. Each service in Scientology is something I have added to my toolbox of data for living."[3] In December 2005, he helped promote the gala opening of Scientology's controversial "Psychiatry: An Industry of Death" museum.[4]

Danny dated Chrissie Carnell for six years and the pair lived together, until 2002. He then very briefly dated Bobette Riales in late 2003 before having a relationship with singer, actress and fellow Scientologist Bijou Phillips from 2004 onwards.

With his brother Chris, and That 70s Show co-star Laura Prepon, Danny invested in Card Player Magazine. He currently resides in Los Angeles and New York. Danny was a child model at the tender age of four. He co-hosted the Fox-TV special Woodstock '99 with That 70s Show co-star Wilmer Valderrama.
