Danny Lee Wynter is an English actor who made his professional television debut starring in Stephen Poliakoff's 2007 BBC dramas Joe's Palace and Capturing Mary with Sir Michael Gambon and Dame Maggie Smith.

Born into an Italian working class family in Ilford, Essex, Lee Wynter was inspired to act after watching the Lewis Gilbert film Educating Rita as a child. He left Essex to attended Middlesex University reading drama and training in Clown and Mask under John Wright of the As Told By An Idiot company. He went on to study Classical Acting at LAMDA.

Lee Wynter has also appeared in the long running television series Trial & Retribution and the 2007 movie Hot Fuzz.

He is a member of the Old Vic Theatre's "New Voices" scheme.

In 2008 Lee Wynter made his stage debut playing the Fool in King Lear for Shakespeare's Globe Theatre directed by Dominic Dromgoole.
