Danny Joe Brown

Danny Joe Brown, (born August 24, 1951, Jacksonville, Florida; died Thursday, March 10, 2005 Davie, Florida) was a member of the Southern rock group Molly Hatchet, and singer and co-writer of the band's biggest hits from the late 1970s. Best known for hits such as "Flirtin' with Disaster", "Dreams I'll Never See", and "Satisfied Man."
He graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1969.
Brown left Molly Hatchet due to his suffering from diabetes[citation needed]. He had suffered a stroke in 1998[citation needed]. He died at his home in Davie, Florida. His obituary attributed his death to renal or kidney failure, a complication of his diabetes he had since age 19.[citation needed]. He was 53.
