Danlí is a municipality and a city in the Honduran department of El Paraíso. The municipality has a flag which consists of 3 horizontal stripes, with green over white over maroon, and representing agriculture, purity and hospitality. The screaming monkey (a creature in danger of extinction to be found in the nearby Apaguiz and Apapuerta mountains) is its official mammal, the zanate (grackle) is its bird and the Naked Indian tree is its tree, while the Napoleón is its flower.
