Danjal

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Danjal, also spelled Daniel ("God is my judge") is a fallen angel mentioned in the Book of Enoch (1 Enoch 69) as one of the original two-hundred who joined Satan in rebellion. According to Arthur Edward Waite's The Lemegeton Danjal exercises authority over the souls of lawyers.

Conversely, according to Francis Barrett in The Magus, Danjal is the name of one of the seventy-two holy angels bearing the name of God, Shemhamphorae.
