Danilovo is an air base in Mari El Republic, Russia located 11 km east of Yoshkar-Ola. It is a small interceptor aircraft airfield. It has been home to 681 IAP (681st Interceptor Aviation Regiment) flying MiG-23MLD aircraft until the 1990s [1].
