Danilo Lazović

Danilo Lazović (Serbian Cyrillic: Данило Лазовић) (born 2 February 1951, Brodarevo, Serbia, then Yugoslavia; died 25 March 2006 in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro) was a Serbian actor.
In March 25th, 2006, Danilo died of a heart attack in Belgrade, at the age of 55.
He will be best remembered in his role as Šćepan Šćekić in the Yugoslavian "Srećni ljudi"- TV Series.

[edit] Yugoslav wars
During the war in Yugoslavia, he strongly supported both Slobodan Milosevic and his friend and politician Radovan Karadžić and was also a member of an organisation with the goal to show the world the truth about Karadžić. He saw Karadzic as the rightful president of Republika Srpska, which in his thoughts is and must be Serbian.[1]
[edit] Montenegrin referendum
In the awaiting of the Montenegrin referendum on independence, Danilo held a speech at a Serbian Radical Party-meeting in which he spoke about the Serbian people and Serbian Orthodoxy, strongly opposing an independent state of Montenegro.[2]
