Danilia is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs of the family Trochidae, the top shells.
This is a deep water genus resembling Herpetopoma but of much lighter build. Sculpture is crisply cancellated, and with a strong columellar fold, followed by a notch. The radula of Danilia is distinctive in having only four lateral teeth on each side, instead of the normal five laterals for most other trochoids.
