Daniels Mill, Shropshire

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Daniels Mill, also known as Daniel's Mill, is a working water mill used for the milling of flour and situated near the town of Bridgnorth in the English county of Shropshire.

[edit] Largest Waterwheel in Britain

The mill has a 38 foot diameter cast iron waterwheel, the largest in England, cast originally at Coalbrookdale in 1854, and stands below the Oldbury Viaduct of the Severn Valley Railway[1][2] which runs close by.

The mill incorporates a shop, where it sells its own stoneground flour, and a tea room. It has been in the same family for at least 200 years.
