Daniele Dessena (born 10 May 1987 in Parma) is an Italian footballer. He currently plays midfielder role for Parma F.C. in Serie A. He is the latest successful youth product of Parma system. Dessena has a growing reputation within Serie A, known for his deft touch and range of passing from the centre of the park.
He scored Parma's first goal in the 2006/7 UEFA Cup, against FC Rubin Kazan, and continued to play well in the domestic league, He was called-up to the Italian U21s squad to play against Spanish U21s.
He signed a new five year contract with Parma in summer 2007.
