Daniela Fusco
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Daniela Fusco was born in 1961 at Rome, where she graduated at the Fine Arts Institute.
She started her career in graphics, lending several of her works for the creation of some of the most attractive CD covers of ACV Records and for these she received favourable comments in leading English and German newspapers.
In the early 90s she became Art Director for ACV, personally handling the image aspect for the artistes of the record company and also supervising all the videoclips, soon becoming a specialist in visual communication.
In 2000 Daniela was named Art Director for the satellite musical channel Count Down Television. For this channel she also directed and produced the TV programme “Virtual City” (entirely created in 3D graphics), thanks to which she received in 2001 the “Hot Bird TV Award” as the best European musical channel. Since then she has enjoyed a long series of collaborations as Art Director with various national TV broadcasters.
In 2006 Daniela moved to Montepulciano – near Siena – to devote herself entirely to painting. Her predilection is for the female figure, a harmonic ensemble of forms, colours and fantastic details. An uncompromising quest for beauty and perfection drives her to portray every feature with minute precision. Various techniques are used by Daniela to bring her works to life: oils on canvas, pencil alone, as well as oil and pencil technique.
