Daniel Wright Junior High School

Daniel Wright Junior High School is a junior high school in Lincolnshire, Illinois which is part of Lincolnshire-Prairieview School District 103. Grades 5 through 8 are taught at Daniel Wright. The mascot is the Trojan and the school's colors are white and green. It is a feeder school to Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire. Daniel Wright is a Blue Ribbon school. The school is lead by Principal Josh Carpenter and Assistant Principal Jodie Benton.
Daniel Wright Junior High School plays many schools, including Woodlawn Junior High School and Twin Groves Junior High School in Kildeer Countryside Community Consolidated School District 96 and Fremont Middle School in Fremont School District 79. in many competitions both academically and athletically. Activities include track and field, basketball, volleyball and soccer.

Lincolnshire-Prairieview School District 103 is known for their good academics and their high succession rate in state tests. Students at Sprague school are in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Students at Half Day are in grades 3 through 4. Students at Daniel Wright are in grades 5 through 8.
Daniel Wright, the district's junior high, is known for their academic success and sport success. Daniel Wright has won the feeder school into Stevenson High School's competition in basketball and volleyball. The girl's 7th and 8th grade basketball teams are the reigning champions for the past 8 years. The boy's 7th grade basketball team is the reigning champions for the past 3 years. The girls and boys volleyball teams are all reigning champions as well. Their scholastic bowl team has held the Illinois state title for the past 2 years, has gone to state for 5 successive years, and placed 3rd and 2nd in the two years before they won the championships, they almost got knocked out in regionals by the Antioch Upper Grade School team barely winning by 40 points. Their science bowl team came in third in the nation for academics and first in the nation for the hydrogen fuel cell car competition.
Fifth grade teachers include Amy Bahcall, Danielle Cerretani, Carrie Dwyer, Michelle Freitag, Jaime Gagamov, Mickie Naughton, Tracy Pardini, and Becky Rendl. Sixth grade teachers include Cheryl Cheifetz, Kirsten Frantom, Jennifer Lutz, Proctor, Amy Rose, Athena Sotos, Chris Walsh, and Sue Wotal. Seventh grade teachers include Jill Beck, Christina Louchios, Cathy Nasenbeny, Mike Mol, Jackie Kovich, Mary Friesl, Paul Nordhaus, Kristine Rickert, and Thomas Stadler. Jill Beck, Christina Louchios, and Cathy Nasenbeny all teach English/Literature. Mike Mol and Jackie Kovich teach math, Paul Nordhaus and Mary Friesl teach physical science, and Kristine Rickert and Thomas Stadler teach social studies. Ms. Brennan teaches Spanish.
