Daniel Watkins (born May 8, 1989) is a young English footballer currently playing for Tottenham Hotspur. He plays as a striker and has represented England at Under 16 and Under 17 level.
Born in London, Watkins started his career at the age of 16 with Torquay United F.C playing 12 games for the Torquay youth team[citation needed]. On June 8, 2007 an agreement between Torquay United F.C and Tottenham Hotspur will see him continue his development at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy[citation needed].
Watkins has been playing in the Tottenham Youth team in the 2008/09 season and has been in good form, scoring 5 goals in 6 games.
