Daniel W. Williams is the acting Primate for the Christian Communion International, a worldwide communion of churches with congregations, dioceses and provinces in 42 nations. Williams is a leading figure in the Convergence Movement and is recognized for building international organizations and interdenominational/interfaith diplomacy.

In addition to his role as Acting Primate, he serves as the Presiding Bishop for the U.S.A. Province of the Christian Communion International, a.k.a. the Communion of Convergence Churches, U.S.A.

Williams is the founder (1981) and President Emeritus of Calvary International and Chairman of the Board of Teen Mania Ministries.

In 1973, he married Sharon McCall, and together they have four children and eight grandchildren.
