Daniel Truhitte

Daniel Truhitte (born September 10, 1943 in California) is an American actor, best known for his portrayal of Rolf in the film The Sound of Music.
His son, Thomas Rolf Truhitte, is an American opera singer.
His third son also shares his name, only differing with the middle initial–Daniel L. Truhitte (Senior) and Daniel R. Truhitte (Junior). Daniel R. Truhitte is currently (2006-2010) attending The University of North Carolina, seeking his bachelor's degree as an honors student in international business. He has an internship with a prominent corporate attorney in North Carolina and is an alumnus of the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law, in Washington, D.C.
