Daniel Tibbets
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Daniel Tibbets is the producer of the world's first mobisode. While at FOXLAB, Inc (part of the Fox Broadcasting Company), Tibbets created the mobisode, an episode of narrative television produced specifically and solely for distribution and viewing on mobile phones. In addition to producing and developing the content, Tibbets was also the person who created the word itself. After Tibbets coined the new word, News Corp executive Lucy Hood proceeded to trademark it and although the trademark is still owned by Fox — a subsidiary of News Corp — the word itself has been used to refer to mobile series in general.
