General Daniel Rothschild is a veteran soldier who served with the Israel Defense Forces for more than three decades. As Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, he played a key role in the negotiations that led to Israel’s peace agreements with Jordan and with the Palestinians. He was a member of the Israeli delegations to peace talks with the Jordanians and with the Palestinians in Washington.
General Rothschild is a Governor of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the President of the Council for Peace and Security; the Chairman of the Israeli board of the America-Israel Friendship League, and a Director of the Investec Bank.
